Really good portrait.
A little more contrast around the eyes could give a more intense look to the whole, in my opinion.

I really like it

PS: the statement about the negative space is very appropriate, I had also to justify the white areas of my works many many times :D

Brilliantly done! You show texture and form very well, colouring only the minimal, which is reeeally hard! This is very impressive , especially because it looks so realistic!

Thank you. Halfway through painting this I thought it wouldn't turn out well, I was having trouble with the hair- thankfully as soon as I stopped thinking too hard it came together, she was a rebellious one to paint ;)

Very beautiful. It's obvious you're skilled - look how perfectly you chose which parts to paint and which to leave white!

Thank you for noticing, sometimes I "paint" more with blank paper than i do with paint- I guess I have an obsession with negative space :)

Thats awesome, negative space is more tricky then filling the pace up too much.

Love the minimal use of colours and the expression - looks like she's made of ice but has fire in her soul.

I really like the negative space in this one. The purple looks really lovely mixed with the icy blue.
